Responsibilities
- Design state-of-the-art Battery Management Boards (BMBs) and High-Voltage-Controller (HVC) PCBs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take designs from concept to mass production.
- Contribute new technology ideas and design proof of concepts.
- Own the electrical design process from prototype to production.
- Experiment with and develop solutions for complex electrical problems in interior systems.
- Deliver component designs for the power electronics that move Tesla’s cars.
- Utilize test equipment and PCB design software as part of the design process.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with test equipment and PCB design software.
- Proficiency in a major programming language (C++, Python, Matlab, etc.).
- Proven interest in electrical design engineering through extracurricular activities or projects.
- Strong understanding of analog, digital circuit design, and high voltage power electronics.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent grasp of engineering fundamentals and eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally.
