Systems Engineer Co-op - Summer 2026 (Teradyne, North Reading, MA)

The Systems Engineer Co-op role at Teradyne involves contributing to the development of innovative integrated ATE systems, working alongside teams in both software and hardware engineering, and applying engineering principles to troubleshoot and optimize capital equipment.

• Apply engineering principles to troubleshoot and solve problems on instrumentation.
• Design and develop test procedures and author engineering drawings.
• Support instrumentation changes on capital equipment tester.
• Interface with Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and Quality Assurance to resolve customer issues.
• Develop, debug, and maintain large-scale software in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Create and refine automated workflows.
• Collaborate across various teams to introduce new instrumentation.

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science as a junior or higher.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of lab equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Software experience in MS Visual C/C++/C#.
• Self-starter with proficiency in MS-Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
