Responsibilities
- Assist in the product development cycle including concept, design, and documentation.
- Participate in prototype assembly of mechanical systems, tooling, and fixtures.
- Gain experience in sheet metal packaging and mechanisms.
- Work with pneumatic and electronic control systems.
- Utilize 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred).
- Build mechanical assemblies using basic hand tools.
- Collaborate within a team environment and demonstrate leadership skills.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering student or equivalent with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably Solidworks.
- Experience with electromechanical design and assembly.
- Knowledge of microcontroller programming (e.g., Arduino).
- Familiarity with 3D printing and manufacturing techniques.
- Safe working knowledge of AC power and wiring.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
