Responsibilities
- Develop specifications, requirements, and validation plans.
- Detail design of mechanical parts to support design requirements (sheet metal/machined parts).
- Define and perform verification testing to ensure quality of mechanical design.
- Document components and assemblies.
- Build initial prototypes of proposed designs for validation and verification.
- Communicate and present design proposals to remote teams.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with electro-mechanical design.
- Familiarity with Solidworks (or similar) and PDM tools.
- Experience with stress/strain analysis and FEA.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with semiconductor wafer handling equipment or related.
- Ability to work in a remote environment and use remote collaboration tools.
