Responsibilities
- Develop specifications, requirements, and validation plans.
- Detail design of mechanical parts to support design requirements (sheetmetal/machined parts).
- Define and perform verification testing to ensure quality of mechanical design.
- Document components and assemblies.
- Build initial prototypes of proposed designs for validation.
- Present design proposals to remote teams.
- Collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical design.
- Familiarity with Solidworks (or similar) and PDM tools.
- Experience with sheetmetal/machined part design and stress/strain analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a team.
- Experience with Semiconductor wafer handling equipment or related technologies.
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering or related field.
