Responsibilities
- Work on a concurrent engineering team and communicate effectively with technical team members and leadership.
- Assist in architectural definition at system, card, and chip levels.
- Prepare design concepts to lower costs and improve reliability.
- Conduct tests and analyses for new and existing products.
- Design and verify high-complexity analog & digital circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and FPGAs.
- Provide factory support and troubleshoot in production and repair environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and apply continuous improvement methods to processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA design/development and board-level design.
- Working knowledge of EE design tools (OrCAD, ModelSim, PSpice).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with FPGA tools (Xilinx, Microsemi, Altera).
- Avionics development experience preferred, including familiarity with DO-160 and DO-254.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR restrictions.
