Responsibilities
- Design and build hardware for power electronics converters.
- Own the hardware development process from specification to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware teams.
- Model and architect new power converter topologies.
- Advance Tau's intellectual property in power electronic systems.
- Validate designs for reliability and high-volume manufacturing.
- Lead cross-disciplinary technology teams.
Job Requirements
- 8-12 years of industry experience, preferably in automotive.
- Strong understanding of power electronics and relevant topologies.
- Experience with high voltage power semiconductor selection and design.
- Familiarity with tools like PLECS, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/Simulink.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Proficiency with hands-on EE tools.
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering or related fields is preferred.
