Responsibilities

  • Design and build hardware for power electronics converters.
  • Own the hardware development process from specification to manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware teams.
  • Model and architect new power converter topologies.
  • Advance Tau's intellectual property in power electronic systems.
  • Validate designs for reliability and high-volume manufacturing.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary technology teams.

Job Requirements

  • 8-12 years of industry experience, preferably in automotive.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics and relevant topologies.
  • Experience with high voltage power semiconductor selection and design.
  • Familiarity with tools like PLECS, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Proficiency with hands-on EE tools.
  • Advanced degree in electrical engineering or related fields is preferred.
