Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and analyze the Tacoma Power Electric Power System.
- Manage and provide updated system data for system modeling and analyses.
- Support real-time applications like state estimator and contingency analysis.
- Perform EMS model validation tests and ensure high-quality models.
- Conduct annual system stability and power flow studies per NERC requirements.
- Assist in planning and coordinating transmission outages to maintain system reliability.
- Develop and maintain software for power system models.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
