Responsibilities
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in PLM.
- Update and maintain CAD drawings in the PDM system.
- Contribute to the design, analysis, prototyping, and validation of electromechanical systems using SolidWorks and MathCad.
- Perform tolerance analysis and create mechanical drawings for assemblies.
- Investigate and validate mechanical components such as motors and sensors.
- Assist in assembling prototypes and implementing design changes.
- Conduct thermal, vibration, and structural analyses to ensure design robustness.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering or design.
- Experience in the robotics industry or related fields.
- Proficiency in creating dimensional drawings per ANSI Y14.5 standards.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with power distribution and signal transmission design for mobile robotics.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% for client support.
