Responsibilities
- Perform experiments in the laboratory, including preparing and testing samples.
- Measure cement material properties such as heat release, compressive strength, setting time, and flow characteristics.
- Conduct physical or chemical characterization measurements on materials.
- Analyze data, interpret results, and present findings to the team.
- Contribute to the development of processes through literature reviews.
- Champion safety in experimental processes.
- Foster a supportive and innovative company culture.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a B.S. in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of materials science fundamentals.
- Ability to perform lab work and operate testing equipment.
- Familiarity with characterization techniques is a plus.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
