Responsibilities
- Daily operation of equipment and testing in the pilot system.
- Perform pre-operation and end-of-shift activities for equipment start-up and operation.
- Participate in sample preparation, analysis, and interpretation of lab and pilot scale experiments.
- Document process operations.
- Facilitate installation and assembly of new equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and productivity in the pilot plant.
- Move raw materials using hand pallet jacks or manually.
Job Requirements
- Actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of engineering fundamentals related to chemical plant design and operation.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches and torque meters.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Good balance, perspective, and a sense of humor.
