Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of component design for rocket engines, including thrust chambers and injectors.
- Complete trade studies and conceptual designs for new components.
- Create models, drawings, and work instructions for manufacturing.
- Execute thermal, fluid, and structural analysis for component release.
- Develop and execute qualification test plans for flight readiness.
- Present design, analysis, and test results clearly.
- Manage project schedules, risks, and budgets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or similar.
- Experience in detailed mechanical design and testing of rocket engine components.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Siemens NX preferred).
- Experience with GD&T and material selections.
- Strong fundamentals in heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 0-4+ years of relevant experience in design, build, and testing.
