Additive Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Produce additively manufactured components for high-performance liquid propulsion.
  • Optimize the total manufacturing process, including design for additive and quality verification.
  • Develop and deploy metallic AM hardware, taking ownership of application and process engineering.
  • Find creative solutions and collaborate with external vendors as needed.
  • Operate machines and manage job recovery for high-value builds.
  • Engage in CAD design for additive manufacturing and generate machine program files.
  • Maintain project execution ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in metal additive manufacturing.
  • Proficient in CAD programs and GD&T.
  • Experience in aerospace, medical devices, or ISO environments.
  • Knowledge of general fabrication methods and manufacturing execution systems.
  • Familiarity with liquid propellant engine systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to relocate to Seattle, WA.
