Responsibilities
- Serve as the instrumentation and test expert on the flight hardware development team.
- Develop detailed test plans and campaigns for flight hardware validation.
- Assist with anomaly and failure investigations.
- Create requirements for new test systems to validate flight hardware.
- Collaborate with a cross-discipline team to conceptualize and develop new test systems.
- Train personnel on complex test systems' required processes and operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all testing activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in physics or an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with mechanical, fluid, or electrical systems (including internships).
- Familiarity with mechanical, drivetrain, and electrical engineering concepts.
- Experience in a test-focused role and product ownership.
- Proficiency in using mechanical and electrical measurement devices.
- Ability to read drawings and system diagrams for complex systems.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
