Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance for the Hardware and EEE Parts Reliability group.
- Drive closure on Avionics EEE piece part reliability issues and risks.
- Use reliability physics of failure models to assess risk levels and develop tests to mitigate risks.
- Lead reliability test planning, methodology, and execution.
- Analyze failures discovered during reliability testing and drive analysis processes.
- Build reliability prediction models to evaluate product performance over mission life.
- Interface with various SpaceX groups for parts selection and reliability assessment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor, package, and/or PCBA reliability.
- Proficiency in reliability modeling methods and statistical techniques.
- Excellent understanding of accelerated testing methods and physics of failure.
- Experience with FMEAs and leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with coding (preferably Python) and PCB design analysis.
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.
