Responsibilities
- Interact with engineering, production, and mission management teams to mitigate risks during mission planning and launch.
- Lead mission planning and timeline reviews, coordinating inputs from various teams.
- Monitor test or production anomalies and work with engineering to resolve issues pre-launch.
- Conduct flight readiness activities, including data reviews and readiness assessments.
- Assess changes to vehicle configuration for cross-system impacts.
- Identify technical risks to launch operations and develop mitigation plans.
- Participate in launch operations and coordinate anomaly resolution during launches.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, and/or design engineering.
- Knowledge of spacecraft flight disciplines and experience in hardware development.
- 1+ years of experience with launch vehicles or aerospace systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with engineers.
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering problems.
- Knowledge of programming languages like MatLab, Python, SQL.
