Responsibilities
- Interact with engineering, production, and mission management teams to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead mission planning and timeline reviews, coordinating inputs from various teams.
- Monitor and assess test or production anomalies for flight risk and resolve issues.
- Run flight readiness activities, including data reviews and mission workflow.
- Assess changes to vehicle configurations and design modifications for impacts.
- Identify and evaluate technical risks to launch operations and build mitigation plans.
- Perform independent technical reviews of flight hardware and/or software functionality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or design engineering roles.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, hardware development, and aerospace disciplines.
- 1+ years of experience with launch vehicles or spacecraft.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with engineers.
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering problems.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as MatLab, Python, SQL.
