Responsibilities
- Own the fabrication of parts and assemblies for the Raptor thrust chamber and nozzle.
- Resolve manufacturing discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Challenge and improve processes and parts while working with design engineers.
- Maintain ownership over production line processes, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support production and testing.
- Drive design changes for simplification, reliability, and performance.
- Improve manufacturing processes and coordinate with supply chain teams for timely delivery.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, or project management experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with manufacturing techniques such as machining and welding.
- Understanding of test methods and data acquisition systems.
- Expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
