Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and build systems for rocket launches and testing.
- Manage projects from design reviews to construction coordination.
- Design modular hardware for global manufacturing at launch sites.
- Utilize interdisciplinary engineering skills for system design and analysis.
- Collaborate with technicians to implement designs and solve real-world issues.
- Maintain communication with launch operations to adapt plans efficiently.
- Troubleshoot equipment and develop strategies for system maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems design, build, or manufacturing.
- Expertise in manufacturing design and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics and computer-based modeling.
- Experience with pressurized systems and structural calculations.
- Familiarity with CAD and PLM systems, particularly Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
