Responsibilities
- Work closely with analysts and design teams to meet tower design and manufacturing process requirements.
- Develop production procedures and manage the transition of parts from development to production.
- Coordinate and execute testing of systems and tooling to meet hardware deadlines.
- Execute design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency.
- Create original CAD models and prints for flight and tooling components.
- Lead on-site design engineering for efficient build of parts and assemblies.
- Resolve manufacturing discrepancies and interface with the quality team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on project experience with mechanical systems.
- Preferred: 2+ years of manufacturing design experience and experience in aerospace/mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
- Experience with fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, or related modeling.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must meet ITAR requirements for employment.
