Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, test, and qualify mechanical assemblies for the Starlink Mobile system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on electromechanical interfaces.
- Partner with manufacturing teams for high-volume production.
- Conduct mechanical analysis to support design decisions.
- Take ownership of design, development, testing, and launch milestones.
- Work on the full hardware lifecycle from requirements to on-orbit support.
- Engage in innovative problem-solving within a nimble engineering environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with CAD software (e.g., NX, CATIA, ProE).
- 1+ years of experience with finite element analysis (FEA).
- Experience with complex, multi-disciplinary design projects.
- Strong CAD modeling and GD&T knowledge.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Interest in a fast-paced engineering organization.
