Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, test, and qualify mechanical assemblies for the Direct to Cell system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative payload electromechanical interfaces.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to scale new projects into high-volume production.
- Conduct mechanical analysis to support design optimizations and decision-making.
- Take ownership of design, development, testing, and launch milestones across the hardware lifecycle.
- Utilize CAD software for modeling and manufacturing drawings.
- Conduct detailed thermal or mechanical analysis with FEA software.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with CAD software (e.g., NX, CATIA, ProE).
- 1+ years of experience with finite element analysis (FEA).
- Strong experience using CAD for modeling and manufacturing drawings.
- Project or research experience in complex design and build projects.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
