Responsibilities
- Full ownership of primary and secondary structures, mechanisms, and/or fluid systems for Falcon launch vehicles.
- Use hand calculations, finite element analyses (FEA), and CAD to meet hardware requirements.
- Lead design reviews and hardware qualifications.
- Serve as a technical interface with suppliers and customers.
- Manage hardware delivery timeline through all phases from inception to re-use.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software packages.
- Hands-on hardware experience in fabrication, assembly, and/or testing.
- Preferred: Master's degree in engineering.
- Preferred: Experience with NX/Teamcenter and commercial FEA or multiphysics simulation packages.
- Preferred: Analytical/scientific programming experience (Python, Matlab, etc.).
- Willingness to travel and work longer hours as needed.
