Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical contact for assigned parts and resolve manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews to ensure manufacturability.
- Manage the new product introduction (NPI) process for parts and changes.
- Implement continuous process improvements and statistical process control (SPC).
- Address product nonconformance issues and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Lead containment activities on assigned parts and ensure quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or inspection of mechanical products.
- Familiarity with machining operations and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of inspection systems and supplier quality processes.
- Proficiency in statistical techniques and quality systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
