Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts, addressing manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Review and resolve issues on assigned parts, implementing necessary changes at suppliers.
- Create and manage issue tickets, collaborating with engineering teams for resolutions.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews to ensure parts are manufacturable.
- Work with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Own the new product introduction (NPI) process for new parts and changes.
- Drive the production part approval process (PPAP) to ensure stable supply and improve delivery times.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with manufacturing and/or inspection of mechanical products.
- Hands-on experience with machining processes like milling and turning.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T principles.
- Familiarity with quality systems and statistical techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Willingness to travel up to 85% of the work week.
