Responsibilities
- Get hands-on alongside technicians and welders to integrate propulsion, avionics, and structural components.
- Execute design, build, qualification, and acceptance testing of necessary systems and tooling.
- Design the new Starship production line to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of vehicle structures and propulsion architecture.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide feedback for resolution.
- Collaborate with design, build, and systems engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of hardware.
- Communicate effectively to convey technical concepts and project updates.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on engineering experience (internship and school projects included).
- Experience and passion for building and creating complex systems.
- Proven ability to deliver significant outcomes in engineering projects.
- Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing.
- Physical dexterity and ability to work in tight spaces.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules based on operational needs.
