Responsibilities
- Get hands-on alongside technicians to integrate propulsion, avionics, and structural components.
- Execute design, build, qualification, and acceptance testing of subassemblies and tooling.
- Design the new Starship production line to enhance build efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop a deep understanding of vehicle structures and how they operate as an integrated system.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Interface with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of test-ready hardware.
- Work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to varying schedules.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on engineering experience (internship and school projects qualify).
- Experience in building and creating complex structures.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
- Proven experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing.
- Ability to work in physically challenging environments.
- Eligibility to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.
