Manufacturing Engineer, Raptor Avionics

The Manufacturing Engineer for Raptor Avionics at SpaceX will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, and testing of avionics for Raptor engines, working within a highly interdisciplinary team to develop controls and sensing solutions.

• Build the line that builds the parts.
• Develop and qualify manufacturing processes for avionics production.
• Maintain ownership over production line aspects, including quality and safety.
• Create and maintain production work instructions and training documents.
• Oversee introduction and implementation of new products and revisions.
• Interface with vendors and internal teams for product introductions.
• Investigate failures and drive corrective actions.

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of physical sensors and their operation.
• Experience with instrumentation and electronics packaging.
• Data analysis experience with tools like Python or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with special processes such as wire bonding and laser welding.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
