Responsibilities
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective action recommendations/implementation for quality issues.
- Apply process improvement methodologies to reduce manufacturing build hours and quality issues.
- Manage projects and execute to tight timelines while communicating with stakeholders.
- Train technicians and engineers on best practices in operations.
- Work with design engineers to evaluate designs for manufacturability.
- Ideate and implement tooling and test solutions for hardware build.
- Identify and execute upgrades to capital equipment and production layouts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical hardware design and manufacturing.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Experience with high volume manufacturing and quality tools.
- Knowledge of metallic manufacturing techniques and CAD.
- Experience with Python or other coding languages.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present recommendations.
