Responsibilities
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective action recommendations/implementation for quality escapes and in-process quality issues.
- Apply process improvement methodologies to reduce manufacturing build hours and quality issues.
- Manage projects and execute to tight timelines while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
- Train technicians and engineers on best practices and process improvements.
- Collaborate with design engineers to evaluate designs for manufacturability.
- Implement tooling and test solutions for high-quality hardware builds.
- Identify and execute upgrades to meet production volume demand.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical hardware design and hands-on manufacturing.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing and quality tools.
- Proficiency in CAD and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of Python or other coding languages.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
