Responsibilities
- Own the production, assembly, and testing of propulsion components for Falcon programs.
- Create assembly and test work instructions and design fixtures for high-rate production.
- Design, manufacture, and maintain automated high-pressure test equipment.
- Question existing requirements and lead changes to production processes and hardware.
- Collaborate with design engineers and technicians to ensure manufacturability of parts.
- Resolve manufacturing and test discrepancies in coordination with the quality team.
- Support component-level testing such as proof, leak, and functional checkouts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware.
- Experience in developing production processes or factory optimization.
- Hands-on troubleshooting, building, and testing hardware.
- Understanding of fluid systems and solid mechanics principles.
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks and travel as needed.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends.
