Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design, build, and reliability engineers to meet production schedules.
  • Develop and revise production processes, procedures, equipment, tooling, and layout.
  • Drive design for manufacturing and assembly during product development and improvement cycles.
  • Facilitate production of composites structures while reducing costs.
  • Resolve manufacturing defects through investigation and validation testing.
  • Support new product development and improvement cycles.
  • Work on-site and may require extended hours and physical activity.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of hands-on composites experience (internship and project team experience included).
  • Preferred 3+ years of professional composites or integration experience.
  • Experience with avionics or pneumatic systems on aerospace structures.
  • Hands-on advanced composites manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency with NX/Unigraphics and Teamcenter CAD and PDM systems.
  • Experience in transitioning products from prototype to volume production.
