Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design, build, and reliability engineers to meet production schedules.
- Develop and revise production processes, procedures, equipment, tooling, and layout.
- Drive design for manufacturing and assembly during product development and improvement cycles.
- Facilitate production of composites structures while reducing costs.
- Resolve manufacturing defects through investigation and validation testing.
- Support new product development and improvement cycles.
- Work on-site and may require extended hours and physical activity.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on composites experience (internship and project team experience included).
- Preferred 3+ years of professional composites or integration experience.
- Experience with avionics or pneumatic systems on aerospace structures.
- Hands-on advanced composites manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency with NX/Unigraphics and Teamcenter CAD and PDM systems.
- Experience in transitioning products from prototype to volume production.
