Responsibilities
- Improve quality, cost, delivery, and capacity metrics for mechanical hardware.
- Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing engineers.
- Support procurement by assessing supplier manufacturing processes.
- Define supplier technical and quality requirements.
- Lead resolution of supplier quality issues.
- Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics to drive improvements.
- Conduct research to identify potential new suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain engineering, or supplier development.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and methods.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).
- Knowledge of metrology tools and techniques.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the work week.
