Responsibilities
- Improve quality, cost, delivery, and capacity metrics for mechanical hardware.
- Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing engineers.
- Support procurement by assessing supplier manufacturing processes.
- Define supplier technical and quality requirements.
- Lead resolution of supplier quality issues through root cause analysis.
- Implement and monitor the production part approval process (PPAP).
- Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics to drive improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain engineering, or related fields.
- Master’s degree preferred in engineering, business, or supply chain.
- Manufacturing experience in areas such as CNC or Injection Molding.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and methods.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
