Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procedures for integration, testing, and operation of Crew/Cargo Dragon flight hardware.
  • Manage day-to-day execution of mission-specific launch site and vehicle processing activities.
  • Develop inspection, repair/retrofit, assembly, and system test requirements based on lessons learned.
  • Manage work orders and drive non-conformances into actionable items.
  • Maintain large integrated planning documents for varying capsule/hardware configurations.
  • Design and develop tools to enable vehicle processing and testing capabilities.
  • Communicate vehicle status to a broad audience during readiness reviews and updates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience with hardware development, vehicle integration, or refurbishment.
  • Preferred: 2+ years industry experience in automotive, aviation, or spacecraft manufacturing.
  • Experience with advanced composites manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass an Air Force background check and work flexible hours.
