Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procedures for integration, testing, and operation of Crew/Cargo Dragon flight hardware.
- Manage day-to-day execution of mission-specific launch site and vehicle processing activities.
- Develop inspection, repair/retrofit, assembly, and system test requirements based on lessons learned.
- Maintain integrated planning documents for varying capsule/hardware configurations.
- Design and develop tools to enable vehicle processing and testing capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering staff and technicians daily.
- Communicate vehicle status to a broad audience in readiness reviews and updates.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience with hardware development, vehicle integration, or operations.
- Preferred: 2+ years of industry experience with composite structures or large mechanical assemblies.
- Experience with advanced composites manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with spacecraft or launch vehicles and associated operations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment and communicate effectively.
