Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procedures for integration, testing, and operation of Crew/Cargo Dragon flight hardware.
  • Manage day-to-day execution of mission-specific launch site and vehicle processing activities.
  • Develop inspection, repair/retrofit, assembly, and system test requirements based on lessons learned.
  • Maintain integrated planning documents for varying capsule/hardware configurations.
  • Design and develop tools to enable vehicle processing and testing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering staff and technicians daily.
  • Communicate vehicle status to a broad audience in readiness reviews and updates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience with hardware development, vehicle integration, or operations.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of industry experience with composite structures or large mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience with advanced composites manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with spacecraft or launch vehicles and associated operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment and communicate effectively.
