Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procedures for integration, testing, and operation of Crew/Cargo Dragon flight hardware.
- Manage day-to-day execution of mission-specific launch site and vehicle processing activities.
- Develop inspection, repair/retrofit, assembly, and system test requirements based on lessons learned.
- Manage work orders and drive non-conformances into actionable items.
- Maintain large integrated planning documents for varying capsule/hardware configurations.
- Design and develop tools to enable vehicle processing and testing capabilities.
- Communicate vehicle status to a broad audience during readiness reviews and updates.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with hardware development, vehicle integration, or refurbishment.
- Preferred: 2+ years industry experience in automotive, aviation, or spacecraft manufacturing.
- Experience with advanced composites manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass an Air Force background check and work flexible hours.
