Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procedures for the integration, test, and operation of Crew/Cargo Dragon flight hardware.
- Manage day-to-day execution of launch site and vehicle processing activities.
- Conduct vehicle system level checkouts and hazardous operations as a test conductor.
- Refine inspection, repair/retrofit, assembly, and system test requirements based on lessons learned.
- Manage work orders and drive non-conformances into actionable items.
- Maintain integrated planning documents for varying capsule configurations and work scopes.
- Collaborate closely with engineering staff and technicians across departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, aerospace engineering, or electrical engineering.
- 1+ years of experience with hardware development, vehicle integration, or operations.
- Experience with spacecraft or launch vehicles preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software and large CAD models.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to work with hazardous materials and flexible hours.
