Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and build systems for rocket launches and testing.
- Manage projects from design reviews to equipment procurement and construction.
- Design modular hardware for manufacturing at future launch sites.
- Apply interdisciplinary engineering skills for system-level process design and analysis.
- Collaborate with technicians to build designs and solve real-world problems.
- Maintain communication with launch operations to adapt plans as needed.
- Activate and troubleshoot equipment to meet design objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace engineering, or related fields.
- 1+ years of hands-on build or design experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Familiarity with fluid and structural/mechanical systems.
- Experience with CAD software (NX preferred) and design verification.
- Ability to work in extreme conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required for compliance with ITAR.
