Responsibilities
- Collaborate with electrical design and avionics manufacturing teams to enhance product reliability.
- Conduct PCBA test failure investigations and perform root cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and simplification in designs and processes.
- Monitor product yield rates and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Guide quality inspectors and engineers in managing non-conforming products.
- Challenge requirements to streamline acceptance testing for flight hardware.
- Engage hands-on in the office, factory, and lab environments to support reliability objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, or engineering physics.
- 1+ years of experience with digital or mixed-signal designs and relevant test equipment.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, reliability, or design engineering role.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical hardware failures.
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent discipline preferred.
- Strong collaborative skills and a passion for improving technology reliability.
- Knowledge of quality tools and processes in manufacturing and testing environments.
