Responsibilities
- Design and implement electromechanical control systems for satellite components.
- Analyze and develop satellite attitude control and momentum management systems.
- Implement fluid and power system controls for Starlink thrusters.
- Conduct optimal state estimation for mechanical alignment and attitude determination.
- Specify hardware performance, support iterations, and monitor fleet performance.
- Develop high-fidelity simulations using programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Deploy and validate production software related to control systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, physics, or engineering.
- Experience in software development with C++.
- Knowledge of closed-loop control systems design and analysis.
- Preferred advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a related field.
- Strong expertise in linear closed-loop controls and state estimation techniques.
- Experience with spacecraft operations and flight software development.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
