Responsibilities
- Design and implement electromechanical control systems for solar arrays and antennas.
- Develop satellite attitude control and momentum management systems.
- Manage fluid and power system controls for Starlink hall thrusters.
- Conduct optimal state estimation for mechanical alignment and attitude determination.
- Specify hardware performance and support hardware iteration and firmware bringup.
- Create and maintain high-fidelity simulations using C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Implement and validate production software relevant to control systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, physics, or engineering.
- Software development experience in C++.
- Knowledge of closed-loop control systems design and analysis.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in relevant fields.
- Strong expertise in linear closed-loop control analysis and design.
- Experience with spacecraft operations and flight software development.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently.
