Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and implement electromechanical control systems including solar array actuators and antenna gimbals.
- Develop satellite attitude control and momentum management systems.
- Implement fluid and power system controls for Starlink thrusters.
- Conduct optimal state estimation for mechanical alignment and attitude determination.
- Specify hardware performance and support hardware iteration and firmware bringup.
- Develop high fidelity simulations using C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Validate and deploy production software relevant to control systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, physics, or engineering.
- Software development experience in C++.
- Experience with closed loop control systems design and analysis.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
- Strong expertise in linear closed loop controls and state estimation methods.
- Experience with spacecraft operations and flight software development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
