Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and implement electromechanical control systems.
- Develop satellite attitude control and momentum management systems.
- Implement fluid and power system controls for Starlink thrusters.
- Conduct optimal state estimation for mechanical alignment and attitude determination.
- Specify and size hardware performance, support hardware iteration, and monitor performance.
- Maintain high fidelity simulations using programming languages like C++ and Python.
- Validate and deploy production software related to the control systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, physics, or an engineering discipline.
- Software development experience in C++.
- Experience with design and analysis of closed loop control systems.
- Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
- Strong expertise in linear closed loop controls and state estimation techniques.
- Familiarity with spacecraft operations and flight software development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
