Responsibilities
- Manage the supply base for critical commodities related to the Raptor product line.
- Monitor trends and manage costs of parts while mitigating cost increases.
- Leverage demand forecasts to ensure manufacturing capacity and quality yield.
- Provide guidance on design for manufacturability and supply chain optimization.
- Conduct supplier analysis to inform sourcing strategies.
- Visit suppliers to assess technical capabilities and capacity.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and ensure compliance with company policies.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 6+ years, or 10+ years of experience.
- Experience in supply chain management, contract negotiation, and material cost control.
- Strong understanding of machining supply chains and vendor management.
- Ability to read technical drawings and quality documents.
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
- Detail-oriented and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as necessary.
