Responsibilities
- Manage the supply base for Raptor product line, focusing on aerospace components.
- Monitor part costs and mitigate increases through supplier relationships and technical knowledge.
- Ensure manufacturing capacity and quality yield for Raptor supply base.
- Guide internal procurement and engineering on manufacturability and cost strategies.
- Conduct supplier analysis for 'Make vs. Buy' decisions.
- Assess supplier capabilities for new product development and production.
- Develop cost models and educate junior team members on cost management strategies.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree with 4+ years or bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in CNC machined parts, forgings, or raw materials.
- Proven experience in supply chain management and contract negotiation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and quality documents.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
