Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical project team and consult with engineers and contractors throughout the engineering process.
- Work with internal and external customers to determine electrical requirements.
- Develop drawings, design documentation, and reports for various projects.
- Manage construction contracts with subcontractors and resolve design conflicts.
- Coordinate with electrical utility providers for reliable power service.
- Support electricians and technicians during construction and activation of power distribution equipment.
- Interact with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical systems design or build.
- Experience with power distribution systems and medium voltage design.
- Knowledge of switchgear, motor control centers, and facility grounding.
- Ability to perform Arc Flash, Coordination, and Power Studies.
- Familiarity with National Electric Code and building codes.
- Ability to work in various environments and pass a background check.
