Responsibilities
- Design and build controls infrastructure for ground support equipment for testing and launching the Starship.
- Maintain operational capability of control voltage level (<60V) electrical systems.
- Develop and upgrade data acquisition and control systems across launch infrastructure.
- Create new automation systems to support evolving launch and test needs.
- Provide technical support for controls technicians and other engineering groups.
- Develop new hardware and processes to enhance capabilities and reduce costs.
- Analyze data to assess the function and health of electrical systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.
- 6+ months of experience with data acquisition systems (internship/project experience is acceptable).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for advancing the commercial space industry and human spaceflight.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a high-paced environment.
- Knowledge of high-reliability processes and documentation practices.
- Experience with designing and troubleshooting data acquisition and control hardware.
