Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines to provide detailed electrical design and specifications for various systems.
- Support facility technicians in troubleshooting electrical equipment and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations with local electrical utilities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform code review and analysis utilizing relevant NFPA and IBC standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical projects and power distribution systems.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Strong ability to read power and control schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and medium voltage distribution.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
