Responsibilities
- Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
- Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, and analysis.
- Oversee schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring-up, and debugging.
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
- Challenge assumptions and approach problems with an open mind.
- Document and manage the performance of complex electrical designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics.
- 1+ years of experience designing circuits, electronic products, or hardware.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in full life-cycle development of new hardware products.
- Strong understanding of mixed-signal circuit boards and various electronic components.
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronics.
- Ability to work in a highly cross-functional role.
