Responsibilities
- Design new hardware and modify existing PCBAs for improved reliability and manufacturability.
- Own avionics hardware for flight across all product life cycle areas.
- Drive improvements to electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Conduct root cause investigations for off-nominal unit behavior.
- Provide engineering justification for production issues during assembly and testing.
- Design test setups and perform hardware validation through testing.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to solve problems creatively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in electronics hardware design.
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Ability to design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
- Knowledge of digital communications interfaces and common circuit blocks.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
