Responsibilities
- Design new hardware and modify existing hardware to enhance reliability and manufacturability.
- Take ownership of avionics hardware throughout the product life cycle.
- Implement changes to electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Conduct root cause investigations for off-nominal unit behavior.
- Provide engineering justification for production issue resolutions.
- Design test setups and perform hardware validation testing.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and manage projects from start to finish.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in electronics hardware design.
- 1+ years of experience with electrical test equipment.
- Ability to design various types of circuits (analog, digital, mixed-signal).
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
- Knowledge of digital communication interfaces and common circuit blocks.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
