Responsibilities
- Design new hardware, redesign existing hardware, and modify PCBAs for reliability and manufacturability.
- Take ownership of avionics hardware across all product life cycle areas.
- Drive improvements to electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Conduct root cause investigations to address off-nominal unit behavior.
- Provide engineering justification to resolve production issues.
- Design test setups and validate hardware through testing.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to solve problems creatively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in electronics hardware design (academic, internships, or professional).
- 1+ years of experience with electrical test equipment.
- Ability to design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
- Knowledge of digital communications interfaces and common circuit blocks.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
