Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supplier Development Engineers on SMT process requirements.
- Advocate for consolidation of SMT assembly requirements.
- Review PCBs to address manufacturing issues.
- Identify opportunities for product output and quality optimization.
- Develop test vehicles for validating new processes.
- Drive corrective actions based on manufacturing defects and yield issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in SMT processing and/or microelectronics packaging.
- Experience with reliability modeling of solder joints.
- Familiarity with automated PCB review software.
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes.
- Proficiency in statistical techniques and methods.
- Master’s degree in Material Science (preferred).
