Responsibilities
- Collaborate with analysts and design teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet tower design requirements.
- Develop production procedures and manage the transition from development to production.
- Coordinate testing of systems and tooling to meet hardware deadlines.
- Implement design for manufacturability changes to improve production efficiency.
- Create CAD models and prints for flight and tooling components.
- Act as the on-site design engineering contact for efficient build operations.
- Maintain build schedules and resolve manufacturing discrepancies with the quality team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on project experience with mechanical systems.
- 2+ years of manufacturing design experience.
- Experience with GD&T concepts and large steel structure construction.
- Familiarity with pressurized systems and finite element analysis software.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and at heights.
