Responsibilities
- Own and execute building automation projects in collaboration with various teams.
- Develop and upgrade data acquisition and control systems.
- Provide technical support for controls technicians and non-controls engineering groups.
- Commission new hardware and integrate physical hardware components.
- Perform continuous improvements for team processes and project efficiency.
- Draft and redline electrical and fluids schematics.
- Program BAS controllers and analyze data for mechanical and electrical systems.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 2+ years of experience in a controls technician or specialist role.
- Knowledge of electrical safety codes and HVAC controls.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a high-paced environment.
- Experience with programming PLC and HMI systems.
- Understanding of engineering principles behind electronic equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and perform physical tasks as required.
