Responsibilities
- Own industrial automation projects in collaboration with engineers, specialists, and technicians.
- Wire and commission new electro-mechanical automated machinery.
- Draft and redline electrical, mechanical, and fluid schematics.
- Provide expert build support and design insight during machine development.
- Configure and test controls hardware (sensors, actuators, drives) during commissioning.
- Provide troubleshooting support for new and existing automated machinery.
- Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency certificate.
- 1+ years of experience in building and troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems or an associate’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong experience with power and hand tools.
- Experience reading electrical and pneumatic drawings.
- Experience with industrial control panels and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, or microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes (NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79 & UL508A).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
