Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and commission automated processes and production cells in high-volume manufacturing.
- Own the development of factory automation software to control process flow and monitor factory health.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure products are designed for automated production and reliability.
- Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Design sensor systems to monitor processes and track factory status.
- Interface with vendor hardware software for factory workflow integration.
- Design user interfaces for complex machines to facilitate control and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, or related STEM field.
- 1+ years of experience in automation, robotic cells, or controls systems.
- Programming experience in C/C++/Python/Ladder Logic or Structured Text.
- Preferred experience with SECS/GEM protocols and micro-electronics assembly machinery.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and robotics.
- Familiarity with various production machinery and industrial sensors.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and innovate.
