Responsibilities
- Report to the SolarEdge Quality Manager and collaborate with the team at Flex Austin, TX.
- Support the implementation of improved monitoring methods and lesson-learn activities on the production line.
- Cooperate with local EMS teams to monitor and enhance the quality and performance of SolarEdge products.
- Investigate root causes of workmanship-related failures and lead EMS teams for CAPA implementation.
- Lead the implementation of improvement plans to enhance production first pass yields (FPYs) and field reliability.
- Collaborate with SolarEdge headquarters' Quality and Reliability members to support global quality targets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Materials or Electronics) with 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing, or 5+ years of progressive experience leading Quality Teams.
- Additional education in Quality and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is advantageous.
- Experience in Quality Engineering for multidisciplinary electronics mass production at EMS.
- Proven track record in quality monitoring, failure analysis, and implementing quality improvements.
- Familiarity with production methodologies and processes in high-end electronics, electro-mechanics, and mechanical products.
- Strong engineering and personal skills, along with good computing skills.
