Responsibilities
- Report to the SolarEdge Quality Manager and collaborate with the team at Flex Austin, TX.
- Support the implementation of improved monitoring methods and lesson-learn activities on the production line.
- Work with local EMS teams to monitor and enhance the quality and performance of manufactured products.
- Investigate root causes of workmanship-related failures and lead teams for corrective action implementation.
- Lead the implementation of improvement plans to enhance production first-pass yields and field reliability.
- Collaborate with global quality and reliability teams to support overall targets and goals.
- Utilize engineering and personal skills to facilitate quality improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Materials or Electronics) with 3+ years of quality engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing, or 5+ years of progressive experience leading quality initiatives.
- Additional education in Quality or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is advantageous.
- Experience in quality engineering for multidisciplinary electronics mass production.
- Proven track record in quality monitoring, failure analysis, and implementing improvements.
- Familiarity with production methodologies for high-end electronics, electro-mechanics, and mechanical products.
- Strong engineering and computing skills.
- Good personal skills to work effectively in a team.
