Responsibilities
- Root cause and resolve quality yield and customer-facing product quality concerns.
- Define, measure, and improve quality metrics and analytics.
- Evaluate the performance and reliability of products and factory quality systems.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams across Skydio.
- Take ownership and work autonomously on assigned tasks.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to debug complex issues.
Job Requirements
- Junior, senior, or MS-level student in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Previous intern experience with Solid Works and data analysis.
- Understanding of quality principles such as PFMEA, DFM, DFA, and stack-up analysis.
- Ability to articulate problem statements and conduct root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Databricks and SQL is a plus.
