Responsibilities
- Work on process and formulation development projects with the engineering team.
- Fabricate product prototypes under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Design, run, and analyze experiments to characterize properties of nanomaterials and prototypes.
- Develop and execute novel analytical methods for product characterization.
- Document and present results with conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Commit to a six-month working period to develop skills at Sila.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols in the lab environment.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in chemical engineering, materials science, battery engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
- Prior hands-on lab work experience is essential.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and seek help when necessary.
- Capable of working independently with direction.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment in the lab.
- Ability to operate analytical equipment and perform physical tasks as required.
