Responsibilities
- Own the entire product lifecycle for satellite builds.
- Provide direct engineering support for build, integration, testing, logistics, and launch phases.
- Collaborate with design engineers from concept to final installation, driving continuous improvement.
- Develop production schedules, part demand and delivery, GSE, and tooling.
- Create efficient and reliable processes using industry standards and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to solve issues through team-based thinking.
- Support engineering documentation review and execution, including work instructions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required.
- Preferred: Familiarity with GD&T, background in Aerospace and Defense, and experience with mechanical systems.
- Exposure to PLM, MES, and MRP systems.
